My introduction to color grading and matching started with compositing Nite Owl Theatre and not only studying the grading of 70 different color and B&W films but actually working new footage and grading it to match exactly what they had done in those historic films.
Color-grading and light VFX work done for a Scotch commercial. For this piece the client wanted the color to reflect the beautiful, brisk, clean Scotch countryside and stay away from the "Hollywood" view of Scotland, as they put it.
